Cajun Koi Pond

16" x 20" oil on canvas

3rd Place in the Quick Paint Competition

Alpharetta, Georgia, May 2023

Paint the Town Alpharetta is one of my favorite Plein Aire painting competitions held each spring. I usually turn out about two or three paintings over the course of the week, and then get to display them in the Alpharetta Arts Center next to some of the greatest Plein Aire painters in the southeast. This particular piece was painted during the Quick Paint competition, which means I had less than 2 hours from start to finish. I painted a beautiful little koi pond outside of a Cajun-inspired restaurant, and managed to win 3rd place in the competition!

Original Painting is 16 inches by 20 inches, oil on canvas, and it comes with a frame and a certificate of authenticity.
